Sweet Adalyn

What a precious little girl and family.  We've photographed the Jackson family since Sadler was a newborn.  Now, he is one awesome big brother!  Adalyn was 3 or 4 weeks old when we took these photos and I was very impressed with how well she did.  She didn't cry much and even fell asleep for a few shots.  We always love taking newborn photos.... especially a cutie pie like her.  Here are a few from the shoot....

Little Reagan

We took Reagan's photo when she was 8 days old. She was an excellent little model during her shoot. We weren't sure at first if she wanted to get her photo made. But at about the second set, she went into deep baby sleep. She slept so hard, we couldn't get her mouth to close most of the time! I can feel her pain though. I'm usually so tired at night, my mouth stays gaping all night as well (or so Brent tells me).
We had the privilege to photograph her parents' marriage 5 years ago. We were so happy when Nathan and Amanda decided to come see us again for Reagan's newborn photos. They're such sweet people and I have no doubt their little girl will follow in their footsteps. And maybe be spoiled, at least a little, with two grandmas close by and her being the first grandbaby on both sides! :)
I wanted to make mention of the bucket that Reagan is sleeping in, in the photo below. That is a true antique bucket that has been in Brent's family for many years. It was a wedding gift to his great-grandmother and she used it to get water out of her well. It's a beautiful bucket that I actually have on display in my house.   I was so happy that Reagan thought it was comfortable enough to take a nap in because it is one of my most favorite photos of the shoot!

 

 

 

Sweet Emelyn

Finally! I've got some pics to show you of such an adorable little girl. She was born in November and I'm seriously late posting about her. She was a great little model and only pee'd on her parents once. Her parents, Jacob and Beth, are friends of ours that we go to church with. In fact, Beth is one of Jack's Bible Class teachers and we are so blessed to have her teach our little one. Emelyn made her debut at church a week ago and, of course, did great :)

Cutie Pie Charlie

I photographed this little guy in his momma's belly about a month before he was born. Now he's here! ... and absolutely adorable. GREAT newborn session with Charlie, Chuck, and Terry. Thanks for letting us photograph such a special time in your lives.

Sweet Baby Girl

We took these photos of the Jenkins family a while back and I completely forgot to post them. They have a new precious little girl! We were excited they came to see us. We took their wedding photos in March of 2010. Congratulations Michael and Monica!

Little Liam

Little Liam Walker came to see us last week and he is one cutie patootie. He was sound asleep when he got there and did a few shots, then was a very alert baby the rest of the shoot. I loved his little onsie that had an applique tie on it. My first thought was to show one of my friends, Amber Mullins... she makes those cute things all the time. What a great idea for a newborn. Fun shoot and super sweet parents. Liam's Dad, Caleb, volunteered his time as a little league soccer coach to my nephew for 5 years. I know he made a difference in his life forever. He's greatly appreciated in this family!

Baby Jasmine

We love the Bell family! We did their wedding photos about a year ago and now we had the pleasure of photographing their first baby girl. We also attend church with them. And we're anxiously waiting for LaDoris to be able to bring Jasmine to church. And I know she's anxious as well! She's been patient to wait the 5 weeks that the doctor said she should. What a BEAUTIFUL baby girl they have.

Baby Brody

I absolutely love this family. I've had the privilege to photograph their engagement, Mandy's bridals, their wedding, their first son's newborn, their second son's newborn, and tomorrow - their first son's 1 year pics. That's right.... one year old ... I believe the two kids are 9 days apart. They don't waste any time building a family :) They're hilarious and so fun to be around. Looking forward to Big Brother's shoot tomorrow - and hope to post soon.
