Haylee and her sister, Mia, came to see us last week. And of course, the cutest little doggy and star of the shoot - Eloise. :) They were so very sweet, easy going, and fantastic in photos. Haylee is a senior and planning on going to cosmetology school. She's got a love for sparkly things and even made her high heel shoes in one of the photos below! Brent and I were very impressed with them and enjoyed getting to chat a while about life.
A fun side note - they moved here a few years ago from the town beside my hometown, Greenville, TX! In fact, they found us because they liked my Dad's photos and wanted to use someone like him! My Dad is a photographer in Lone Oak, TX. Him and my mom do fantastic work and he's taught me so much. Here is his website - clemphotography.com

Micah & Izzy
We've had the privilege to photograph these girls and their parents for three years now. I feel special everytime I get an e-mail from their momma, Kelly, telling me that they are driving in from Tennessee and want to get some pictures while they are here.
Well time truly flies and now they are 5 years old and still seriously cute. Brent and I love taking their pictures because they do whatever you ask with beautiful smiles and added personality. Maybe one of these years I'll be able to know which one is which by their faces and not have to memorize them by what outfit they are wearing. :)
On this trip in Kelly and Steven informed us about their newest addition coming this November. We are so very excited for them! I wish they lived closer so I could do maternity and newborn pics of the little person, but I have a feeling that a new momma isn't going to want to drive 6.5 hours for pictures. We're praying for a healthy baby and delivery for the Hovater family. He/She is going to be very loved with two adoring big sisters and fantastic parents.

Little Reagan
We took Reagan's photo when she was 8 days old. She was an excellent little model during her shoot. We weren't sure at first if she wanted to get her photo made. But at about the second set, she went into deep baby sleep. She slept so hard, we couldn't get her mouth to close most of the time! I can feel her pain though. I'm usually so tired at night, my mouth stays gaping all night as well (or so Brent tells me).
We had the privilege to photograph her parents' marriage 5 years ago. We were so happy when Nathan and Amanda decided to come see us again for Reagan's newborn photos. They're such sweet people and I have no doubt their little girl will follow in their footsteps. And maybe be spoiled, at least a little, with two grandmas close by and her being the first grandbaby on both sides! :)
I wanted to make mention of the bucket that Reagan is sleeping in, in the photo below. That is a true antique bucket that has been in Brent's family for many years. It was a wedding gift to his great-grandmother and she used it to get water out of her well. It's a beautiful bucket that I actually have on display in my house. I was so happy that Reagan thought it was comfortable enough to take a nap in because it is one of my most favorite photos of the shoot!

Senior Emma
Emma is a senior at CAC in Little Rock and, WOW, can she take photos! She is so natural with the camera and excellent at posing herself. I thought I had a hired model in my studio while she was there. She is outgoing, fun, sweet, and plays every sport I think they offer. We very much enjoyed her photo shoot and was so very glad she used us for her senior portraits. It was truly an honor! Thanks Emma!
