6 month old Max

Our little nephew, Max, turned 6 months old this month. Here are a few from his quick session we did when Nick and Alisha came to visit a week ago.  He was born on the same day as Jack (4 years apart) He's pretty stinkin' cute and can make some awesome expressions!

Castellani Engagement - Part 2

I don't think that I mentioned in my last post about the Castellani engagement that we also had the privilege to photograph their proposal. It was Cody's idea and he called us to schedule a photo shoot for them as "boyfriend/girlfriend" He told me that he was planning to propose during the shoot. I thought the idea was fantastic!! So, we caught the moment where he got down on his knee and asked Caitlin to marry him. For a side note - anyone else who wants us to photograph their proposal... it's a great idea and we'd LOVE to do it! We can even hide and sneak a picture if need be. Here is a photo from their proposal...

and here is part two of their vintage engagement....

Senior Lexy

Lexy is a Cabot High School Senior. She had some fabulous outfits, some very sparkly ....which always looks good in photos. She brought her boyfriend Chase who is such a nice guy and got some pics done with him as well. We had fun and she did great! She's even helped me figure out my facebook group page and why some people can't find it on their mobile phones. I am somewhat "fb group page illiterate". It was a senior from Vilonia about 4 years ago that introduced me to the wonders of facebook group pages. And I've been sucked into it ever since. I don't know what I'd do without these wonderful seniors introducing me to the new technologies of this world. :) Thanks Lexy for choosing Ruple Photography. We had a blast!

Senior Krystal

Krystal goes to Cabot High School. She is a stunning model for sure. I love it when seniors know exactly what to do without even being posed. Fantastic job Krystal and good luck in college!

Castellani Engagement - Part 1

yes, Part One... because I have so many that I like from this shoot!! And I can't get them all on here tonight.
Cody and Caitlin are a FUN couple. They enjoy each other's company and enjoy cutting up. We did a vintage shoot with old records, suitcases, picnic area, and things of that nature. And in all reality - they LOVE those old records. I don't think they actually listen to a "record player"... but they do listen to Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and many others. They share a common love for classic music.
I wish I would've taken a photo of their truck when they pulled up to the studio! Caitlin could hardly fit in it with stuff piled up in the bed of the truck and in the seat with her. I teased her about it, but really - it was so awesome that she brought props that meant something to both of them. I had no problem coming up with hundreds of different ways to use all of them. I just wish the sunlight would've stayed out longer so I had more time to get more poses in!

Here are a few to start ... part 2 coming soon.....

Martinez Family

Alex and Emily are good friends of ours that used to live in Little Rock, but moved away about 3 years ago. During that time they had a baby, Daniel. Last week we had the privilege to photograph his first year pics. And what a good little boy he is! He had to warm up to us quite a bit to get a smile out of him... but he didn't cry or anything in the process. He just stared at the crazy lady behind the camera.
He is the perfect little model with his beautiful big eyes. His daddy loves baseball and I thought the pics with the Alex, Daniel and the baseball turned out great.
Thanks Em and Alex for driving all the way to Arkansas to see us. We miss you guys!

Miss Kynlee

Kynlee is a little Easter cutie. Her mom and entourage were very helpful in getting her to smile. I don't believe it's too hard to get her to light up with grins - but they were wonderful all the same. I wish they were around more often to help me dance like a monkey or make silly noises to get all little children to smile. It would be interesting to see what Brent and I look like when we're behind a camera with a giraffe hat on doing crazy dances and such.

Here are a few pictures from her shoot....

Lady Panthers Basketball

Brent's Dad is the assistant coach at Cabot and his team won this year's state basketball tournament. I got to see some of the quarter finals which was held at Cabot High School, and Brent got to see the state finals in Hot Springs. What an exciting time for the team and for our family! We're so proud! Here is a photo we took of the team this past week. They are a bunch of excellent and VERY sweet girls. Brent and I were so impressed with them. Fun shoot with a good group of girls!
